WONDERFUL VACATION HOME
A recently constructed 4BR, 4 1/2 Bath home, Casa de los Sueños (House of Dreams) is filled with creative, unusual and captivating features. The unique architecture blends the traditional with boveda ceilings in every room, cupolas and fabulous arches, with the more modern cathedral ceiling including skylight. 

The house is nestled in beautiful Guadiana, just around the corner from the Instituto Allende, and a brief walk to the Jardin.

The living room furniture is typical San Miguel in style, yet the bold fabric and art work make the room vibrant, particularly as the sun shines in from the various front and patio windows. The cathedral ceiling and skylight are another source of interest and light in this warm room.

The dining room with built-in hutch begins the sun and moon theme that threads its way through the various nooks and crannies of the house. You can enter the outdoor patio including the handcrafted fountain, for outdoor dining, either from the glass doors in the dining room or the kitchen.

As you reach the top of the stairs from the first floor you are struck by this hallway topped with boveda ceilings and framed by arches with cylindrical columns leading out to a wrought iron balcony, where you can take in the sights and sounds of San Miguel ... whether it be one of many neighborhood parades or a fireworks display.

The master bedroom features a locally crafted, wrought iron bed and built-in, handmade tiled vanity with a beautiful mirror designed by a local artist.  The boveda ceiling has a cupola, and, as in most rooms of the house, there are halogen lights in each corner of the ceiling. Even the large walk-in closet has a boveda ceiling. A beautifully designed gas fireplace keeps the room cozy and warm. Off the master bedroom is a terrace featuring a spectacular, handcrafted fountain.

The other 3 bedrooms have twin beds which can be pushed together to make king-sized beds. There is ample closet space with drawers as well as a separate bathroom with eash bedroom. 

The Deck, 
This one speaks for itself ... from the rooftop deck you have a panoramic view of San Miguel and the Sierra Madres.
